Anti-oxidants fight for free radicals, which are the main cause of aging. Anti-oxidants are the molecules which a lost electron, they attack molecules and the nearest stable molecules as well which makes a free radical and causes anti-aging skin,  it’s a physiology of every single body.  Which makes your akin everlasting, with full of beauty and smoothness. People are more and more using anti-aging products to look younger and to make their skin from free of wrinkles. A survey has been conducted and it has found out that majority is facing aging because of environmental pollution and less diet. You need to focus on branded products as this a sensitive matter and no one can compromise on this.

Microdermabrasion makes use of small particles, which pass through the vacuum tube to scrape away the anti aging skin as well as stimulate the new growth of cell. Due to superficial nature of the technique, patients with moderate to mild skin damage or wrinkles are best candidates, as well as multiple treatments are generally needed to attain the subtle results. Doctor’s palette of the resurfacing choices for anti aging skin carries on expanding. In patients with the early skin changes, the nonsurgical treatment methods like vitamin C, tretinoin, as well as alpha hydroxy acids might give some satisfactory improvement. A good quality anti-oxidant anti-aging product should have co-enzyme Q10.

The chemical peels laser abrasion and dermabrasion are used alone and in the combination with some other surgical methods to treat severe to moderate degrees of the facial sun damage. The deeper facial lines are treated with the botulinum toxin and soft tissue enhancement, which includes autologous fat, collagen, and Gore-Tex implants. The patients with sagging and excess skin might benefit from the additional procedures like brow lift, facelift, and blepharoplasty (the surgical reconstruction of eyelid). The treatment should be individualized according to patient’s facial characteristics & cosmetic concerns.

Have you ever been told that in order to have a small waist you have to curb your sugar intake. That’s so true! Many experts believe that eating sugar foods makes your skin deep wrinkled.

This is a natural process called glycation, where sugar that is in the blood contributes to the formation of harmful new molecules called glycosylation. The more sugar you eat, the more the CPG is formed. “When the CPG is accumulated, they damage proteins,”- says Frederic Brandt, a dermatologist from Miami.

Many refer to sugar, almost as the second cause of aging skin after the sun. Sugar inhibits the effectiveness of collagen in our skin cells, it binds them. During the normal stage of collagen, molecules easily slide over each other, making the skin firm and elastic. As a result of glycation of collagen tissue stick together, become stiff, which is manifested in loss of tone and wrinkles on the face.

The final blow CNG- they destroy antioxidants, leaving a person more vulnerable to the sun exposure.

The fact of early aging supports people with diabetes, which often show early signs od skin aging. “patients with diabetes maybe up to 50- fold increase in the number of CNG in their skin compared with healthy people.”- says Karyn Grossman, a dermatologist in New York, head of the department of dermatology at the Hospital of St. John’s.

Don’t worry there is good news about sugar. It’s never too late to turn back the clock. Here are four steps to preserve your youthful skin:

1. Minimize consumption of sugar

It’s difficult to completely eliminate sugar. Even whole grains, fruits, and vegetables contain it. But limit the amount of it.

The sugar content in the diet should be no more than 10% of total calories. Many prepared foods contain large amounts of sugar, which is hidden under pseudonyms- barley malt, fruit juice concentrates, glucose, maltose syrup, etc. How so I determine how many teaspoons of sugar serving of food contains? Make it easy. Find the label, look for sugar which is listed in grams of carbs, then divide that number by 4( each teaspoon of sugar equals 4 grams). For example, if 12 grams of sugar, you get three teaspoons of sugar per serving. Avoid foods with corn syrup, containing a high content of fructose.  FIll in your daily diet for at least 1 mg of vitamin B1 and B6. According to studies by David Goldberg, MD,

 2. Sun Protection

British journal of dermatology much larger number of CNG is formed under influence of sunlight on exposed skin. Use protective clothing and sunscreen with a SPF every day for at least 15, preferably 30.

 3. Use Antioxidants

These free radicals fighters help keep sugar from adhering to the proteins, keeping anti aging skin.Eat more antioxidant- rich fruits, nuts, and vegetables, such as cranberries, walnuts, red pepper, green tea, olives, bran, beans, avocado, seeds, and taking vitamin C and E. “This is one of the best ways to ensure that the antioxidants are made of layers of the skin where the collagen and elastin,”- says Goldberg.

 4. Use ingredients that protect your skin from sugar

An increasing number of products contain compounds such as aminoguanidine, which blocks the formation of the CPG and cause a skin tightening. “Aminoguanidine prevents binding to collagen and elastin molecules that begin the process of glycation.”- explains Grossman. In a study of anti aging lotion with SPF 25 protection, which contained similar ingredients showed that after 8 weeks of the treated skin had 21 % less CPG than untreated skin.

Plastic surgeries could be ignored if we are properly fed throughout our lives. What we eat reflects on our face- we lose our  beautiful shine and gain double chin and annoying wrinkles.

We can thank to natural collagen and elastin for providing smooth skin in our youth, but as the time passes by we tend to naturally loss collagen. So, unfortunately, over the years all of these substances produce less and less collagen.

If you follow the right diet, you will simultaneously solve several problems. First, right diet helps to normalize your weight and subcutaneous fat. Second, it nourishes your skin with vitamins, minerals and amino acids, which supply the skin with collagen and elastin. Thirdly, it activates the skin immune system, which continually weakened the influence of the outside. So, from what you would have to give up: animal fats, white flour products and alcohol- they form acids which have negative effects on muscle tissues.

The body needs water- at least two liters of fluid per day. It’s also good to include green tea in your diet. Eat less salt: it retains fluid in the body and prevents the breakdown of fat.

What’s necessary to include in your diet: protein rich foods are meat, poultry, and eggs. Choose meat diet: veil, rabbit, chicken, turkey- it will help you to keep a normal weight. Also, add fish, bananas, green vegetables to your diet.

Menu Option:

Monday Breakfast: fruit salad, cheese and coffee. Lunch: vegetable soup, boiled chicken with rice, orange juice. Dinner, boiled liver with onions, salad with seaweed and tea. Before going to bed: low- fat yogurt.

Tuesday Breakfast: scrambled eggs with mushrooms, crackers, and coffee. Lunch: boiled chicken with eggs, grilled or steamed vegetables, green tea. Dinner, vegetable salad, grilled fish.

Wednesday Breakfast: oatmeal with fresh berries and honey, tea. Lunch: rich and meat, green salad. Dinner: fruit salad, lean ham, and tea. Before going to sleep: apple.

Thursday Breakfast: cottage cheese, toast whole grain bread with honey, green tea. Lunch: green cabbage, veal roast with vegetables, tomato juice. Diner: chicken escalope with buckwheat. Before going to sleep: herbal tea.

Friday Breakfast: cereal with a banana, toast with peanut butter and green tea. Lunch: pumpkin soup, lean beef. Dinner: steam fish, salad with seaweed, green tea. Before going to bed: orange juice.

Saturday Breakfast: scrambled eggs with cheese, vegetables and a slice of ham or turkey, toast with jam and coffee. Lunch, chicken soup with eggs and croutons, turkey with vegetables and green tea. Dinner, salad with green beans and cheese, and tea. Before going to bed: low- fat yogurt.

Sunday Breakfast: oatmeal with nuts and fresh fruit, cheese and coffee. Lunch: lean soup, fish stew with vegetables, orange juice. Dinner,  stewed vegetables, boiled beef, grapefruit juice. Before going to sleep: herbal tea.

Humans alike animals are not able to produce their own vitamin C, but we acquire it through intake of food. We must constantly obtain vitamin C because it doesn’t remain in the cells and is excreted with the urine. Vitamin C is very popular ingredient in skin care formulas.

Vitamin C is a multi agent that keeps our skin from aging and is the best natural  wrinkle treatment. First, it prevents our skin from water shortage and therefore servers as a skin’s barrier. Most importantly it involved in production and stimulation of elastin which is a protein found in connective tissues of the cells and collagen synthesis. Without adequate amount of Vitamin C in your system, your wounds wouldn’t heal properly. Second, vitamin C is antioxidant that functions as a deactivator for the free radicals in our blood, before they perform too much damage.

Recent research suggests that vitamin C is the best anti aging product and it may reduce sunburn, protect and limit the skin of  harmful UV rays damage. This doesn’t necessary mean that you should take vitamins or apply topical vitamins on your skin and you will be fully protected from the sun damage, but keep your skin healthy and make sure that you do have enough vitamins C in your system.

How do you get the vitamin C into your skin? It’s the design of our skin to keep things out, this means that getting wrinkle creams and other topical medications where they suppose to perform their shores is difficult. I recommend eating a citrus a day, it will keep the doctor away and supply your skin with the adequate amount of vitamin c.

Smoking alters the skin, teeth, hair, and makes you look a lot older than most people your age who don’t smoke. But that’s not all, most importantly it causes forehead wrinkles.  Can you guess who is the smoker on these pictures?

A woman on the picture( Twin B) was smoking half a pack a day, for 14 years. While her twin sister ( Twin A) had never smoked. Loose skin under eyes is typical for a smoker, this is one of the few visible signs of tobacco side effects that harms your look and body.

Smoking deprives your skin of oxygen and other nutriets. So people who smoke look pale. All these changes can occur at early age. According to dermatological research “ Young non-smokers, usually do not have a pale skin tone and it’s more visual in people who smoke.”

Tobacco smoke contains more than 4,000 chemicals, many of which cause the destruction of collagen and elastin. This is a fiber that gives your skin strength and elasticity. It all comes from smoking and the second hand smoke. Which eventually leads to the weakening of the skin and formation of deep face wrinkles.

Age spots- patches of darker skin color, which are common on the face and hands. While anyone can get these strains from a long stay under the sun without sun screen. Studies have shown that smokers are more susceptible to the harmful side effects of the sun.

Quit smoking! It will have positive impact on your appearance. Your skin will begin to receive more oxygen and nutrients. This will help you to develop a healthier complexion.

Vitamins play a crucial role in a human life.Vitamins maintain our over all condition, our hair, skin, nails and eyes. The whole appearance of the body depends on the vitamin supply. And among other things, vitamins can prevent the appearance of wrinkles and prolong youthfulness of your skin. Therefore, when choosing skin care, pay close attention to its vitamin composition.

Vitamin A
This is perhaps the most important vitamin for the skin among others. It stimulates production of cellular proteins, which condenses the  skin and keeps moisture inside, allowing you to maintain water balance.

Vitamin A is able to replace  damaged collagen and elastin fibers, keeping the elasticity of the skin. It also neutralizes free radicals, which mainly  leads to formation of wrinkles.

While creams with vitamin A is highly recommended to start using as early as possible, because the sooner we start to defend ourselves from wrinkles, the better. But keep in mind that creams with retinol( a derivative of vitamin A) can not be directly applied to the skin before going out, because it makes the skin sensitive to ultraviolet light. So it’s always necessary to apply sunscreen for your protection.

Vitamin E
In protecting your skin from free radicals, this vitamin is crucial. It’s simply a necessary step to mitigate the adverse external factors, moreover vitamin E contributes to the rapid resumption of the cell and extends the freshness and youthfulness of the skin.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C neutralizes free radicals on the skin and increases skin’s elasticity. It is especially effective in combination with vitamin E, as has the ability to enhance the action of the latter. Best Anti- Aging  Creams with that combination- vitamins C and E, are recommended to start to use as early as 20 years, because they have a higher regenerative qualities.

Distinguishing feature of ascorbic acid is its effects on blood vessels: it strengthens them, improves blood circulation and contributes greater to skin elasticity.

B Vitamins

Vitamin B is a must in a fight with wrinkles. After all, it contributes to increase production of collagen and elastin.

If you want to protect your face from anti aging and wrinkles, your cream should contain many useful vitamins for the skin. Better if it will be all of these.

In a fight against wrinkles you would want to increase utilization of amino acids, moisturizing hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and other natural substances. But no less important is the intake of vitamins.

Remember, aging is gradual and often unnoticed process. The skin dries out over time, becomes thinner, loses its function and ability to heal itself, which leads to the formation of wrinkles. To prevent these unwanted processes it’s necessary to feed your skin with vitamins.

When you look in the mirror and your skin is not as elastic as it used to be, and you start to notice wrinkles, then it’s time to take actions!

Traditional recommendations- change your lifestyle, try not to stress so much and definitely implement sports activities. Cosmetic procedures are not always effective and affordable and most of the time they help to hide  aging problems temporarily, without eliminating the causes.

Our skin is a reflection of our body. No Cosmetic Procedures can help until the body is in poor health conditions.

Several years ago, cosmetologists and dermatologists noticed that Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids do not only slow down the aging of the skin but also eliminate a significant portion of aging problem.

Why does the skin age ?

Our skin has an elastic foundation, consisting of interwoven fibers of connective tissues known as collagen. Over time, the amount of collagen decreases and those age changes occur.

What is bad for skin?

I listed the main factors that harm the skin:

  • Oxygen
  • Sun
  • Heat
  • Mental Stress
  • Toxic Substances

In addition to already mentioned factors there are dozens of factors that can lead to skin aging. Simply to say that almost any excessive exposure triggers the destruction of collagen.

How Omega-3 fatty acids slows the aging  of the skin?

Antioxidants - substances that oppose the cell damage by oxygen and products of its activity. In varying degrees of inherent antioxidant properties of vitamin A (retinol), selenium, fruit extracts, and hundreds of other substances.

Omega-3 fatty acids counteract inflammation. Sometimes inflammation of the skin is tightened and  becomes chronic. This is not just allergies and illnesses, but also regular aggressive actions. For example, the daily exposure to the sun. You’ve probably noticed some wrinkles are formed as early as 30-40 years living in the south where  a lot of people  like sunbathing. The reason for this aggressive exposure of the sun and the resultant chronic inflammation of the deeper skin layers.

By preventing chronic inflammation in the skin, omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids eliminates the conditions for the intense destruction of collagen and slow the aging process.

As a result, under the influence of omega-3 fatty acids, elastic skin collagen framework is no longer excessively break down and is gradually restored. The skin retains elasticity and youthful look.

Throughout centuries women tried number of home made remedies to prevent aging, wrinkles, sagging of the skin and here I’m going to present the most bizarre ones.

Leech Treatment

A proper use of this therapy has strong effects on body’s systems and has no side effects. In the treatment process all of the active biological ingredients go through bloodstream and have a strong healing effects on various organs and body system. Leeches are very sensitive to various stimuli and is able to find affected organs or areas. Leech is living syringe with a unique set of biologically active substances, whose actions create different effects on the body. Also, leeches can remove wrinkles around the eyes, swelling of eyelids and smoothes of nasolabial wrinkles.

A Facial with snake venom

Snake venom is used in rejuvenation process that helps to remove wrinkles. Venom works to transmit signals to the nerves that are responsible for assembly of chemicals that relaxes and strengthens the facial muscles.

Placenta Facial Treatment

According to CNN human placenta is used in facials to treat and remove wrinkles. This treatment is very expensive and ranges from $350 to $500 depending on specific products. It’s believed that placenta eliminates the appearance of wrinkles and deep fine lines by boosting the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin.

Ceramic Crystals

I have to say that this is one of the most bizarre anti wrinkle treatments, because it injects pieces of porcelain into the face and guarantees to create facelift effects. This technique boosts up production of body’s natural collagen by injecting Hyaluronic acid from the porcelain.

Bird Poop Facials

In theory, birds dropping have the needed enzymes to break down the top layer of the skin making the skin look and feel younger.
